Icon Helps to Reflect on the Call to Priesthood

An icon commissioned by one priest in Connecticut has been selected to be the national image for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ celebration of the Year for Priests. Announced in June 2009 by Pope Benedict XVI for Catholics worldwide, the Year for Priest is a time of prayer for and reflection by priests on their sacred calling.
