Mission Statement:
To provide a way of integrating adolescents and their families into the total mission of the church, recognizing that the whole community is responsible for this ministry.
Vision Statement:
To advocate for the role and needs of young people in the Church and in society.
To provide leadership, resources, services by participating in conference for the education and formation of diocesan leaders, youths ministers and young people.
To promote and encourage ministry to youth within all cultures, settings and environments within the Catholic Church
What the ministry is about:
CYM sponsors the Sunday 5:30 PM mass, the annual outreach concert, Harvest Fest, Respect for Life Sunday, and other parish activities. The group attends diocesan conferences and retreats, provides fellowship activities for the youth and families.
Suggested Attributes:
Love of service, appreciation of diversity, enthusiasm working with and for adolescents, willingness to work with others.
