Everyone is invited to a Faith Formation Film Series on "The Mass" by Bishop Robert Barron on Wednesday at 7:00 p..m. in the Parish Life Center.

The episode this coming Wednesday, October 9 is entitled: “The Mass as a Privileged Encounter with God”

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said: “Christianity is not an intellectual system, a collection of dogmas, or a moralism. Christianity is instead an encounter, a love story; it is an event.”

Nowhere is that encounter purer and more concentrated than within the Mass, where the veil that separates heaven from earth becomes its thinnest. Particularly at the moment of Consecration, the web is dissolved and Christ becomes fully Present among us.
