Dear Brothers and Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena Parish,
As we celebrate the joyous season of Christmas, let us turn our hearts and minds to the true meaning of this blessed day. In the midst of a world plagued by wars and troubles, we find solace and hope in the birth of Jesus Christ, our Prince of Peace.
Jesus, through His incarnation, passion, death, and resurrection, has opened the way to peace for all humanity. He came into this world not with the power of might and wealth, but with the power of love. His birth in a humble stable, surrounded by the warmth of animals, reminds us that true peace is found in simplicity and humility.
As we gather with our families and loved ones this Christmas, let us open our hearts to the action of God's grace and allow peace to dwell within us. May the message of peace that comes from Christmas extend beyond this festive season and create a deeper sensitivity to the needs of others. Let us be instruments of peace, bringing the love and compassion of Christ to those around us and beyond.
May this Christmas be a time of profound encounter with the Prince of Peace. May we, like the shepherds of Bethlehem, hasten towards him and contemplate the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
May Mary, the Mother of God, guide us in our journey towards a deeper knowledge and love of Christ.
Wishing you all a blessed and peaceful Christmas.
In Jesus, the Prince of Peace,
Fr. Jose and Fr. Glenn
